OHS Manager
Job Overview:
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting safety audits, training staff, and ensuring
compliance with all regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has prior experience in
construction safety, strong analytical skills, and a passion for cultivating a safe work
environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct Safety Inspections: Perform regular and thorough site inspections to assess
safety hazards and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and
industry standards.
• Safety Plan Development: Assist in developing and updating safety programs, policies,
and procedures tailored to specific projects.
• Incident Investigation: Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, and unsafe

• PPE and Equipment Audits: Ensure that personal protective equipment is properly used
and maintained. Conduct periodic audits to verify that safety equipment is available and

• Safety Recordkeeping: Maintain up-to-date documentation of safety inspections,
training sessions, incident reports, and safety-related statistics.
• Promote Safety Culture: Work closely with the project management team to foster a
strong culture of safety and provide guidance on best practices. Participate in and lead

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science,
Construction Management, or related field required.
• 6+ years of experience in construction health and safety, with demonstrated success in
managing safety programs across multiple sites.
• Advanced safety certifications required, such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional),
CHST (Construction Health and Safety Technician), or equivalent preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA regulations, ANSI standards, and other relevant safety
regulations in the construction industry.
• Experience leading accident investigations and implementing corrective action plans for
major incidents.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to

Job Overview:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented site-level OHS Coordinator to join our
team in the site development industry. This position is ideal for someone passionate about

safety field. The OHS Coordinator will help in implementing, monitoring, and maintaining
safety protocols across the construction site(s) to ensure compliance with industry regulations

Do you have experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, backhoes or bulldozers?  Are you passionate about helping others learn a new skill?  BRCC is looking for someone with professional experience and appropriate certifications who can share their knowledge with students who may know little to nothing about how to operate heavy equipment.  Due to the nature of the industry and the need for individuals to build upon their learning, classes are structured so that students can quickly develop the foundational skill set required to begin working for a company under supervision on actual equipment in the field.

The program is held 6-8 hours during the daytime over four weeks and involves both classroom instruction and hands-on training with simulation equipment.  Working at the direction of the program head, this position will ensure an orderly and professional atmosphere while performing instruction covering safety concepts necessary to operate heavy equipment in addition to the actual operation of the machines using high-end simulators based on Caterpillar controls.  Position is part-time and contracted on a course-by-course basis as needed. Position will administer end of course assessments allowing students to earn a nationally recognized credential through the National Center for Construction Education and Research.

Mid-Atlantic Utility Locating is a Subsurface Utility service provider. We locate, mark and map underground utilities for civil engineers, construction and general contractors, and anyone who has a need to know where and what utilities are located underground.

You will be trained on underground utility locating practices while you work along side experienced utility service operators on site.

  • Utility Locating/Test Hole Crew Technicians

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Physical Outdoor Labor performing Utility Locating (Test Holes) by vacuum excavation
  • Must be able to lift up to 90 pounds
  • Preparation of the vacuum excavating equipment and fleet vehicles each morning
  • Cleanup and restoration of the vacuum excavating equipment and fleet vehicles each afternoon.
  • Must be willing to learn how to drive and operate new equipment (Vacuum Excavation Trucks)
  • Field work being performed will also involve: walking, balancing, bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching on various jobs sites which will include constructions sites and active roadways
