As an industry, our members are aware of the complexity of individual projects and the value they bring in developing our communities. However, there is often not enough public recognition of the firms and projects that meet the highest standards for excellence in construction.

The HCCA Infrastructure Awards seek to recognize excellent projects as viewed by industry peers. Nominations will highlight the quality of the projects our members build, the technical difficulties they face and overcome, and the value the completed projects bring to the community. The HCCA will make every effort to seek favorable publicity for the winners of the 2023 Awards.

There are five award categories based on project contract value. This allows all HCCA members, regardless of size, to nominate projects. Nominated projects must be located in Virginia, Maryland, or the District of Columbia; and must be substantially completed (only that portion of the work submitted for review by a contractor or sub-contractor) in the 2023 calendar year.

Nominated projects and Superintendents will be evaluated in March 2024 by the members of the Infrastructure Awards Committee. Please reach out to any member of the Awards Committee with questions.
