The Big Dig

The Big Dig is an exciting event benefiting local children and families affected by pediatric cancer. All are welcome to join the fun and excitement of operating heavy machinery, including excavators and scissor lifts, alongside construction industry professionals! In addition to operating equipment, attendees can enjoy games, crafts, music, food trucks, and more!The Big Dig has raised over $300K for the fight against pediatric cancer since its inception in 2021. Funds raised through the event go towards pediatric cancer research grants funded by the American Cancer Society and towards funding a Child Life Specialist at Inova Children’s Hospital in the Pediatric Oncology Department.
