Ari Henrique joins HCCA to lead the association safety and training programs. He is a native of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and is fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish and will work and teach in all three languages to provide the most expansive opportunities for HCCA members. Ari has a long background in construction including serving for 10 years as the Director of Safety for Summit USA Land Development in Manassas, Virginia. In that capacity he designed and maintained the safety programs for the company, trained all of the employees, inspected all company trucks, vehicles and equipment to ensure compliance with a variety of regulatory agencies and handled all interactions with OSHA, DOT and VDOT. In addition he served as an instructor of HCCA VDOT courses from 2007-2009. Immediately prior to joining HCCA, Ari was the Owner Operator of FMS Trucking which specialized in moving highly regulated cargoes nationwide.
